How We Update UAE Fuel Prices

Quick answer: We follow a strict 4-step monthly protocol: official WAM source verification, JSON data repository update, automated mathematical cross-checks, and instant search index notification via IndexNow.
● Official UAE Rates Prices effective: 1 November 2026 • Data last verified: 3 November 2026

The Monthly Publication Protocol

  1. Step 1: Official Announcement Verification (28th – 31st of the month)
The UAE Fuel Price Committee (under the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure) approves the rates. We monitor the Emirates News Agency (WAM) wire service and official ministerial releases. We never rely on unverified social media leaks or speculative blogs.
  2. Step 2: Structured Data Update
The new rates for Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91, and Diesel are entered into our canonical repository data/fuel-prices.json along with the official source link and announcement timestamp.
  3. Step 3: Automated Regeneration & QA
Our system regenerates the open-data CSV download, updates all 8 inter-city highway route calculators, recalculates full-tank comparison matrices, generates the dedicated month archive page, and validates Schema.org JSON-LD structured data.
  4. Step 4: Cache Purge & IndexNow Ping
To ensure motorists immediately see the new rates at midnight on the 1st, our LiteSpeed cache control serves HTML with a 5-minute cache lifespan. We simultaneously fire an IndexNow API ping to Microsoft Bing and participating search engines.
