Worked example (without JavaScript)
Fuel: 1,500 × 8 ÷ 100 = 120 litres; 120 × 3.49 = 418.80 AED per month. Example other costs: Salik 100 per month, parking 200 per month, insurance 3,600 per year (300 per month), registration 600 per year (50 per month), servicing 1,200 per year (100 per month) — 750 per month in total. Monthly total: 418.80 + 750 = 1,168.80 AED. Yearly total: 14,025.60 AED. Cost per km: 1,168.80 ÷ 1,500 = 0.78 AED/km.
How it is calculated
Monthly fuel cost = monthly km × consumption ÷ 100 × price per litre. Each yearly fee is divided by 12 to get its monthly amount. Monthly total = fuel + all monthly fee amounts. Yearly total = monthly total × 12. Cost per km = monthly total ÷ monthly km.
